Jack's Bar Restaurant Garden Kells

Our go to place for good grub and a great atmosphere. Not the first time here and both Seamus and Leona ushered us to a table , we were walk ins, the place was busy with a jovial atmosphere with a mixture of locals and not so locals who were happily engaging with each other especially with talk of favourites on a well prepared menu. I had house special tenders with garlic and parmesian fries, the boss had a chilli bowl. Food was outstanding with attentive but discreet staff making sure we were well fed and watered. Good food good craic and as always we'll be back

Visited here with my partner and newborn baby and was told there was no seats inside so was seated outside then proceeded to see the people after us be seated inside even though we were told there was no tables inside, also found the staff member who seated us was quite rude because we had no booking. We were also told we would be seated inside once table was free which was a complete lie as we watched many other people get seated inside.

This was our first visit, we had a late lunch here it's quite reasonable, good selection on the menus. We had soup and a sandwich at €10 which was good, the chicken wrap, wings were good the onion rings were very tasty. The americano was good, the pints of Guinness were okay. We will definitely be back again.
